I have worked in the Insurance industry for about 45 years, of which 30 years were spent in General Management of Group Funeral Assistance Schemes.
I am the Founder of Iso Lengwe t/a Worksite Marketing Financial Services Provider, which focuses on Employer Groups who are willing to facilitate employee salary deductions for a Voluntary Group Funeral Insurance Scheme that complies with the selected Underwriter’s Group Funeral Insurance Business License.;
Experience includes benefit design, risk rating, negotiation with insurers, assistance with the drafting of scheme rules, implementation of business, roll out of schemes, specifications, and implementation of administrative data systems.
• Successfully set up infrastructures, and implemented a large national Co-Operative’s Group Funeral Assistance Scheme Division.
• Key Individual for Co-Operatives FSP License, CAT A Assistance Business.
• Directly involved with the design and implementation of two large Parastatal and Semi Parastatal Voluntary and Compulsory Group Funeral Assistance Schemes. These schemes pioneered extended family cover in the Industry.
My passion is to make a real difference in this niche market with value for money, easy-to-understand, efficient claims settlement, and distribution mechanisms, delivering broad-based economic empowerment.
I am open to establishing Joint Ventures with Pension Fund Brokers/Administrators.
• Design and establish Employer Voluntary Group Funeral Schemes with or without an Umbrella arrangement.
• Negotiate, design, and negotiate a Voluntary Group Funeral Scheme with the Employers’ Union.
I am an FSCA-accredited Independent Retirement Fund Trustee and available for nomination as an Independent Pension/Provident Fund Trustee.
