Gail Gibson

Gail started in engineering and ended in compliance. Her carereer path is a journey through the fields of construction, consumerism, distaster management, health and finance. In 2008 she graduated from the University of the Free State and obtained the highest ranking in the Financial Planning Institute as a Certified Financial Planner ®. The journey won many awards along the way, including the prestigious “It Starts with Me” award and certificates of appreciation from places such as the city of Germiston. Gail’s working experience includes being a CEO, her own businesses, the Head of Regulatory Training and a compliance specialist for international blue-chip organisations. She is also a certified professional trustee for medical schemes and trusts.
Gail is semi-retired but still loves training people. As a result, she acts as a senior lecturer for Moonstone Business School of Excellence, (MBSE) and does training for international certification agencies in health, retirement, risk and compliance. Her students include regulators and top business persons throughout Africa and the Middle East
As an author Gail is no sloth. Published works include academic books; A-Z of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance Simplified), Project Management for Compliance, Yesterdays’ People’, A Woman’s Guide to Leadership and Where is My Health, which accompany her first fiction work, Dragon born She also is a contributing author to Corporate Compliance Journal, SCCE, Corporate Journal, Fleet Street, Financial Planning Institute, Cover and FA magazine.
